Who is ATII designed for?
ATII is designed for creators, entrepreneurs, educators, consultants and anyone who wants to harness AI professionally and get paid for it. It was built specifically to center the experience of creators of color, though anyone who values cultural intelligence in AI is welcome. No technical background is required for Foundations. Level 2 suits working creators. Level 3 is for those building agencies, consulting practices or thought leadership platforms.
Is prior experience with AI required?
No. ATII Level 1 (Foundations) starts from zero, assuming no prior AI or technical knowledge. You'll build a complete foundation before progressing. If you already use AI tools regularly, you can begin at Level 2 and catch up on any prerequisite concepts through our condensed prerequisite modules. Level 3 requires completion of Level 2 or an equivalency assessment with our faculty team.
How long does the certification take to complete?
Level 1 (Foundations) typically takes 4 to 6 weeks at a comfortable pace of 3 to 4 hours per week. Level 2 takes 8 to 12 weeks. The full Vanguard bundle can be completed in 4 to 6 months. All programs are self-paced, you access content for life and can take as long as you need. Most students find the structured approach moves faster than expected once they see the practical results accumulating.
Is ATII included with my Varynt subscription?
ATII is a premium certification program and is purchased separately from your VARYNT subscription. VARYNT Pro and Vanguard subscribers receive a 15% discount on ATII enrollment. Some ATII content is accessible on paid VARYNT plans, but the full curriculum, exams, project reviews, mentorship and CPD-accredited certification require a separate ATII investment.
What career opportunities become available after certification?
ATII graduates go on to a broad range of work: AI consulting, brand partnerships, speaking, corporate training delivery, agency client acquisition, media appearances and community leadership roles. Outcomes depend entirely on your own effort, market and existing experience, and we make no earnings claims. The alumni network actively circulates opportunities between certified members.
